This and that

Subject: Obama at the ball
Time: Lunch break
Place: My desk

Me: I have made this youtube ready for you gals (I told them eargerly)
Muni: wah wah
Ta: increase the volume yaar
Me: its sound is not good.
Ta: is this your management?
Me: sorry naa
Muni: Michelle looks good.
Me: yes she looks like a fairy. Beyonce is looking stunningly beautiful. Nicely dressed
Ta: true she looks beautiful more than anyone else.
Me: Obama’s footwork was remarkable. We never expect such casual things from our government.
Muni: leh our Zardari never minded of keeping his wife in the limelight.
Me: It was she who was responsible for bringing zardari in the limelight. Baat karti hai…wesay Gillani’s wife is also not allowed to come in the media.
Ta: leh they are parda daar gaddi nasheen log yaar. What those ppl are called…..kiyah kehtay hein un k followers ko…..(she tried to remember)
Me: mureed
Ta: haan un par bura asar paray ga if she comes out of her house.
Me: Muni do you remember naa we saw her in a pic of some one’s wedding wohi motti si…..
Muni: yea yea….but if they do not want to highlight their families, it’s ok naa. It’s their wish.
Ta: She might be sent forcefully to attend the wedding.
Me: yes in this forcefulness she did not forget to be dressed like a drama artist. I think having short streaking hairstyle and loud make ups do not harm parda daar gaddi nasheed families. We can never understand these double standard people. And I am shocked how they keep such things news away from their mureed. And they also keep them deaf and dumb.
Muni: Any way General Musharraf had dealt with all of your complaints. He attended all the functions with her wife.
Me: yes that was good. Actually people do want to know the personal lives of their leaders, although they do not deserve to be called leaders. It is good to see how Americans keep this highly official ceremony a public gathering. An essence of Democracy!
